After acquiring my PC, I purchased MS FrontPage 2000 and built the site you are now exploring.  It uses a template which made my first attempt easier.

Since then I built a page for an artist friend, Tim Quinn.  It may be viewed at http://www.timquinnart.com .

Of course I still have a long way to go on this learning curve,  but these are my accomplishments after four months (as of August, 2001).
